Richard. JavaScript Engineer.

I love to solve business problems

programmatically..

About Me

TL;DR

Hi, my name is Richard Sithole, I am a talented and emotionally intelligent academic and business professional. I have two degrees (in Informatics) from the University of South Africa. I am currently studying towards becoming a full stack software engineer through freecodecamp.

I contribute to open source projects on Github. In my capacity as co-admin of FreeCodeCamp - Johannesburg, I organise programming meetups for our campers. My other interests include candid and sports photography, financial markets investing, travel and coffee.

Business Acumen

To address a market opportunity where many new entrepreneurs required some form of web presence, I started a small web design & development agency based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Rural labs was founded in 2015 with a deep conviction that mixing creativity, technology, and empathy can change behavior and improve the way we live, work, and play. This combination is infused in our approach, helping us empower brands large and small, to better understand and communicate with, not at, their audiences.
